Chakka Auto Care
Chakka (चक्का) means wheel. It is an imagined service workshop on the Ring Road at Balkhu, built to fix the two things riders hate about garages in Kathmandu: not knowing the price, and calling ten times to ask if the bike is ready.
An instant price card covers seven vehicle types, from scooters to electric cars, and the booking flow shows real drop-off availability for three bike bays and two car lifts. The server picks a free bay, prices the job itself from the same catalogue the browser uses, and refuses a bay that is already taken. Every booking gets a job code.
Customers track their vehicle live through six stages, from Booked to Collected, while the owner moves jobs along from a password-protected admin. A symptom checker explains strange noises and whether it is safe to ride, a reminder works out when the next service is due, and an EV calculator compares petrol and electric running costs in rupees.
