Concept design · Coworking website with a live floor plan

Dabali Cowork

Dabali (दबली) are the raised brick platforms in Patan's squares where people have always gathered. This imagined coworking space sits two minutes from Patan Durbar Square, and its website is designed like a Swiss poster: black rules, extra-wide type and one loud lime green.

The centrepiece is a live floor plan of 40 desks across an open floor, a window counter and a quiet room. Visitors choose a day and a morning, afternoon or full-day session, then tap the exact desk they want. Taken desks turn grey, and the database refuses a desk that someone else already holds, even if two people press book at the same moment.

Meeting rooms are booked on an hour-by-hour timeline for three rooms, with prices for hire and chiya worked out on the server. A calculator finds the cheapest plan for how many days you work, combining Flexi packs with day passes, and tours and bookings can be looked up with a code. The owner sees everything in a private admin.
