Janti Weddings

The janti is the groom's wedding procession, the moment a Nepali wedding becomes real. This imagined planner in Kathmandu is designed like a wedding card: ivory paper, sindoor red, marigold garlands strung under the header, arch-shaped photos and an elegant serif.

A saait calendar shows sample auspicious dates for Mangsir, Magh, Falgun and Baisakh, and whether the planner's two teams are still free on each one. Couples hold a date for seven days at no cost, and the server assigns a team and refuses a third wedding on the same day.

A budget planner prices guests, events, menu, venue, decoration, photography, music and janti buses in lakh, with the cost per guest. When a family sends their budget, the server re-prices it from the same model, so the quote cannot be edited in the browser. Consultations are booked by time slot, at the studio or on video.
