Concept design · Korean online class site with a server-marked EPS-TOPIK test and seat-limited batches
Royal Korean
Royal Korean Online Class teaches Korean for the EPS-TOPIK exam, the test Nepali workers take to get a job in Korea. They post a free lesson on TikTok every day for over 31,000 followers, so the website had to feel like the next step after a video: open it on a phone, try a real test, message on WhatsApp. The design uses manuscript-paper grids, a stamp-style seal, serif headings with Hangul, and a Korean blue that runs through the whole site.
The placement test asks twenty EPS-TOPIK style reading questions, laid out the way the real exam is: a Korean instruction, a sentence or a short conversation, and four choices. The answers go to the server, which marks them with a key the browser never sees, then shows "You scored X / 20", a review of every answer and the course that fits.
Courses run in batches that start on the 1st and 15th, in morning and evening shifts, with twenty numbered seats each. Enrolling gives you a roll number. Above beginner level, the server asks for a test result from the same phone that is high enough for the course. The home page also shows the class's real results: students who scored 100%, their TikTok numbers and the latest EPS form update.
