Sisau Studio

Sisau (सिसौ) is the dark, hard rosewood of the Terai. This imagined studio makes solid-wood furniture by hand in Bhaktapur. The site reads like a printed catalogue: linen, walnut and clay, a quiet serif with italic accents, thin rules and numbered pieces.

Every piece has a configurator: size, four woods and five fabrics, with the price, the deposit and the making time worked out live, and a to-scale drawing seen from above. A room planner lets visitors enter their room in feet, drop pieces in at real dimensions, drag and rotate them, and warns about overlaps.

The basket handles delivery zones, free valley delivery over Rs 50,000 and a 30% deposit; the server re-prices everything from the item choices. Customers follow their piece from Ordered to In the workshop, Finishing and Delivered, and can book a designer home visit that holds one of two designers per slot.
