Tejilo Solar
Tejilo (तेजिलो, “bright”) is an imagined rooftop-solar installer for Nepali homes, schools and businesses. The company isn’t real, but the website is built the way a real solar company would want: to turn a curious visitor into a booked site survey.
The centrepiece is a “drag the sun” simulator: move the sun across the sky and watch a little Kathmandu house run on solar, charge its battery, sell surplus to the grid and ride through a power cut. Next to it, a savings calculator works from your real NEA bill to the right system size, cost, EMI and a 25-year payback chart.
Everything is hand-coded with no frameworks. Every illustration and chart is drawn in code, it pulls live sunlight data for Kathmandu, and it switches between English and Nepali and between light and dark mode.
